It’s hard to believe this Fall Issue makes 11 issues of Prairie Hive magazine! Since it’s been two-and-a-half years since we began this project, we decided to refresh the website and magazine to offer an updated look and feel to Prairie Hive. We hope you love it as much as we do!
With fall comes celebrations, snuggling up and lots of entertaining. Our featured home in our signature magazine series, “Cool People, Cool House,” is a stunning custom home in Oklahoma City created from the ground up by the homeowner — who just happens to have an interior design background. (A coincidence? Never!)
This home has clean lines, elements of the outdoors, a to-DIE-for fireplace and a master bath you’ll all swoon over. We fell in love with her philosophy on mixing neutrals and you will too.
Since fall evokes memories of childhood parties, we came up with a classic “Celebrate the Style” feature — a DIY fall festival, reminiscent of those we loved in elementary years gone by. Games, favors, drinks, desserts and plenty of DIYs accompany this party, which is perfect for get-togethers from now until Halloween.
The magazine also shows you how to attain each look, and a new feature we love called “Shop the Shoot.”
